Ten Seminarians Installed as Acolytes

On February 8, 2023, Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary was blessed to have Bishop John Noonan of the Diocese of Orlando preside over the institution of ten seminarians to the Ministry of Acolyte.

Rite of the Institution of Lector

On February 1, 2023, 11 seminarians attending Pope John XXIII National Seminary were instituted into the Ministry of Lector by the Most Reverend William D. Byrne, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Most Rev. Paul J. Swain, Class of 1988, Called Home to the Lord

Most Reverend Paul J. Swain, Bishop Emeritus of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was called home to the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Bishop Swain was ordained as a priest of the Diocese of Madison on May 27, 1988 and was an alumnus of Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary.

Fourteen Men Admitted to Candidacy
