On Monday afternoon, May 8, 2023, a Commissioning Mass was celebrated in Alumni Chapel for the Class of 2023 as they concluded their formation studies and now prepare to return to their respective dioceses for ordination to the Roman Catholic priesthood. Very Rev. Brian R. Kiely, Rector, presided. A reception in the Learning Center and dinner with benefactors and guests in the refectory followed after the Mass.
During Mass, the class received a special blessing from the Rector, and their beautiful chalices and patens were also blessed. This is a wonderful annual ceremony and marks such an important occasion for these men. Please continue to pray for this class as they begin their ministry in God’s Church, utilizing their unique experiences and strong formation to serve the people in their home communities.
