I grew up in Alaska a devout Charismatic Protestant and moved to Georgia in 2009. Through a combination of intellectual & mystical experience, I entered into full communion with the Holy Church in 2015. Immediately, people began suggesting I have a vocation to the priesthood. After two years of prayer & discernment, I entered seminary in 2017 but discerned out in 2020. Before & after seminary, I worked as a police officer & deputy sheriff in southwest Georgia. I also acquired a private pilot certification in 2024. 

Since leaving formation, I assumed the path was closed, but there remained a draw to the priesthood, a desire not quenched by any other aspect of life. In April 2026, my spiritual director invited me to re-approach the question of a priestly call in prayer, and it became clear God is calling me to formation. After consultation with my vocation director Fr. Brannen, he recommended Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary for continuing my formation to the sacred priesthood.
