Before entering the seminary, Daniel worked for 13 years in manufacturing making wood cable reels. He is a guitar player and loves music. He majored in Music Theory and History in college, and has earned an Associate in Liberal Arts and Sciences for Music.
“Early in 2023, all parishioners in The Archdiocese of Hartford began to say a prayer for vocations to the priesthood, because no men were ordained the previous year. I felt a great sadness in my heart as I wanted to see the Church flourish. ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest’ (Matthew 9:37-38). Could Jesus be calling me to the priesthood? I met with the Director of Vocations & Seminarians in 2023 and spent a couple of years in the discernment and application process. I was officially accepted by the Archdiocese of Hartford in 2025 and sent to Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary. I am excited about the journey. I’m confident that if we cooperate with God’s grace, anything is possible. ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him’”(1 Corinthians 2:9).
