Louis studied accounting and finance in Uganda, East Africa, and spent a year working at a bank. However, he did not receive the contentment that he seeks in life; he soon realized that his heart was yearning for something more fulfilling. Louis resumed discerning his childhood sacerdotal vocation in 2018. Each day of his discernment brings him closer to the sacred altar of Jesus, filling his life with purpose and joy. Louis is known for his kindness to everyone he meets and his tender and cheerful presence, which keeps him connected to the people of God.
“I am drawn to the Archdiocese of Boston and Pope Saint John XXIII Seminary because of the presence of a hospitable Ugandan community, the rich cultural connections, and the vibrant diversity within the archdiocese. Boston is a very organized Archdiocese, and PSJS is a prayerful, mature, strong, and fraternal community Seminary, making it the ideal place for me to continue my journey with joy and grace.”
