Before arriving at PSJS, Barry was a professional musician for the Diocese of Springfield and educator/author for the craft industry. Prior to that he was a marketing manager for a regional ribbon and trim company. Barry has also had a 20-year career as a professional designer/wedding specialist.

“God called me from a very young age to live a life of service but little did I know that one day I would come full circle to doing God’s work and discern to the priesthood in the Archdiocese of Boston. What a gift and a blessing it is to be here at Pope St John XXIII National Seminary! The community including the faculty, staff and my brothers at Pope St. John XXIII is inspiring, warm, gracious, friendly and loving.  All in all, it's a pretty busy life here at seminary as each day brings its own set of challenges, but the result is the joy of knowing it is all in the name of God.
