Prior to entering seminary, Mike spent over twenty years in the asset management industry, most recently as a Portfolio Manager and co-Chief Investment Officer with a focus on high yield bonds and equities. Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is originally from Bristol, CT.
Mike began to more seriously discern a vocation to the priesthood after the start of the COVID pandemic, as the quiet of a work-from-home environment presented opportunities for self-reflection and greater clarity of thought. “Bolstered by an incredibly supportive family, rewarding experiences gained through parish volunteer work, and a persistent feeling of being called to a different way of life, I am truly grateful for this opportunity made possible by the Archdiocese of Hartford Vocations Office and the faculty of Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary.”
