Congratulations to Fr. Michael Goodreau, Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary Class of 2020, on recently being named president of the Catholic Charities Agency of the Diocese of Springfield (CCA) by Bishop William Byrne, Diocese of Springfield.
Prior to entering seminary, Fr. Michael Goodreau received a B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He worked as an executive trainer, a manager, and was in business development for F.L. Roberts, a convenience store, gas station, car wash chain, based in Springfield, for nearly two decades.
“Father Michael’s vocation story makes him the ideal candidate for this new position,” commented Bishop Byrne. “He brings nearly 20 years of business experience and acumen that will undoubtedly help to strengthen the mission of the Catholic Charities Agency.”
