When I was a child, I served as an altar boy in my home parish in Colombia-Santander. In this beautiful place, my vocation to the priesthood grew, but it wasn’t until 2010 when I made the decision to respond to God’s call. At this time, I was 24 years old. Then, after I had finished my philosophy studies there at the seminary, I left and started to work as a truck driver for ten years. But along this journey, I realized that something was missing.
During this period of my life, God was asking me, like Peter, “Leo do you love me?” over and over again. He is still asking me “do you love me?” and, like Peter, with joy in my heart I am saying, “Lord, you know everything, you know that I love you.” So, in order to continue responding to His love and mercy, God’s providence brought me here to this marvelous place “PSJS” to transform my heart and strengthen me so I am able to serve and love Him.
