Carlos Galeso
Class Year

Carlos was born in Valledupar, Colombia. In 2018, he moved to the United States. From the age of 17 he felt the call to the priesthood, and, after university studies, he began his vocational process in the Diocese of Tumaco, Colombia. Carlos has been part of Catholic missions run by the Franciscan Sisters in Colombia. He has been linked to the defense of human rights and the construction of peace in Colombia, participating in the peace process that the Government of Colombia signed with the former Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia FARC in 2016.

“I entered the Seminary at Saint John Vianney College in Miami, Florida, in 2022. I have always loved working with vulnerable populations. My greatest desire is to be a priest to strengthen the Catholic faith in communities and to be part of a Church that listens to and includes all people. Bishop Frank Dewane has sent me to Pope St. John XXIII to continue my priestly formation.”
