Lambert Nieme was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Congo in collaboration with the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He received a second Ph.D. in Theology from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium where he worked as a postdoctoral researcher. He also worked as a junior lecturer at the Catholic University of Congo and taught Philosophy at the Major Seminary Saint Robert Bellarmin of Mayidi in DRC. Lambert has been long active in a variety of ministries in different parishes in the DRC, Belgium and Canada. He is now a member of the Class of 2017 studying for the Archdiocese of Boston.
